卫生部长拿督斯里廖中来表示，从本月15日起，马六甲州5个地区，包括世界文化遗产城（bandar warisan dunia Melaka）、马六甲拉也（Melaka Raya）、马六甲国际贸易中心（MITC）、亚罗牙也市中心及野新市中心将宣布为禁烟区。
